Permanent Masking - Un-blur
When we released permanent masking in version 6.0.0, the area you drew would only be blurred. In some cases, you will need to have a permanent area visible at all times, i.e. date and time stamp. In the previous versions, this was doable by creating a manual track with the blur set to false, however, this was limited to either a circle or a rectangle. On this latest version, you will be able to have the flexibility of drawing any shape you would like with the permanent mask feature and set this area to un-blur. This will allow for a tighter more precise area to be left visible as well as being quicker than creating your manual tracks.
To use this feature, click on Permanent Mask, draw the shape and save the mask. Once you have done this you can then select the area and right-click to decide if you wish this area to be blurred by selecting "Blur" or visible by selecting "Un-blur". By default, it will be selected to blur.
Manual tracking
In version 6.0.0 the cursor for manual tracking is pre-set with a circle or rectangle (depending on which tracking you are in) and you then hold and click to change the size of the shape. On 6.0.1 you will see a "+" as your cursor before you draw your shape, (the shape will still be determined by the tracking detection you have selected circle in Head tracking and rectangle in Body tracking). After you have drawn your shape the cursor will show this outline with the "+" in the centre to save you time on having to try to re-draw the shape perfectly. While still allowing you to change the shape, if you require to, by drawing a new circle or rectangle.
