How to change the Frame Rate?

If you are looking to change your frame rate setting to improve your performance of Identity Cloak and video quality, this guide will take you through how to do so.

In version 6.0.3, you are to select how Identity Cloak adjusts your frame rate. The frame rate is the Frames per Second and is referred to as FPS.

The three options that are available for your frame rate are:

  • Default – Match the FPS of the source video.
  • Standard – Adjusts FPS based on the quality of the video.
  • Optimal – this will change your FPS to 5 FPS (this one will be pre-selected when 6.0.3 is first installed)

You can only change your frame rate before you import a video.

  1. Open Identity Cloak
  2. Go to Import on your taskbarScreenshot 2024-03-27 at 08.17.09-2
  3. Select Frame Rate from the dropdown menuScreenshot 2024-03-27 at 08.28.42-2
  4. Select Default, Standard or Optimal from the secondary dropdown menuScreenshot 2024-03-28 at 10.04.24

Identity Cloak will remember this for future imports.
