How to use Full-Screen blur mode?

How to and when you would use the full-screen blur mode in your video redaction.

This is a different way of redacting to the other two modes. We suggest using the full-screen blur mode when you’re in a sensitive area, where you want the whole general area to be redacted. This can be useful if you need to prove that someone was in the area, are interested in what is happening in a small section of the area or you need to blur a particular section of video. To allow you to have the flexibility to use the full-screen blur there are two different ways to use this mode: firstly, with Auto-tracking and secondly dynamic adjustment.

Full Screen with Auto-tracking: 

The suggested use of this mode is when you want to track someone who is in a sensitive area. 

1. On the right-hand side panel at the bottom click the tick box labelled ‘Full Screen’
2. At the top of the right-hand side panel select ‘circle’  
3. On the right-hand side click ‘Auto-Tracking’ 
   
4. Then click ‘New’ again on the right-hand side
5. Go to the main section of the screen where the video is 
6. Click on the person's head you wish to show, this will now track this person 
7. On the right-hand side panel click ‘Save’
8. Click ‘Next, this will allow you to change the degree of blur on the target
9. Click ‘Export’ once you have completed all your required redactions to save within your secure environment 

Full Screen with a Rectangle:

Use a rectangle to keep a selected area clear so you can see what is happening within a small section of the video. 

1. On the right-hand side panel at the bottom click the tick box labelled ‘Full Screen’
2. Select Rectangle at the top of the right-hand panel
   
3. Click 'New' on the panel
4. At the start of the video draw a box around the area you wish to keep clear
5. Go to the end of the video and draw a box over the top of the first box you have drawn, if your object or person is moving you will need to go through frame by frame and redraw the box on each frame.
6. Click 'Save' on the right-hand panel
7. Click ‘Next, this will allow you to change the degree of blur on the target
8. Click ‘Export’ once you have completed all your required redactions to save within your secure environment
