Here are the release notes for Facit’s Identity Cloak 6.0.5. In this version of Identity Cloak, we have released a couple of bug fixes.
What's changed:
- Improved GPU utilization
- No Frame Rate in the metadata
- Option to redact without processing
Improved GPU utilization
We have improved the GPU utilization to speed up the processing of videos. The speed of processing will depend on the GPU in your device, however, this utilization is across a number of Intel and NVIDIA GPUs. To find out how many frames per second are processed depending on the GPU you will find more information in this article.
No Frame Rate in the metadata
Some customers reported an issue where their footage and exported videos the frame rate was slower causing the video to jolty. On investigation, this was down to the frame rate missing in the video's metadata and on some occasions the frame rate had been corrupted in the metadata. We have released a fix to prevent Identity Cloak from slowing down the frame rate in these situations.
Option to redact without processing
When redacting low-quality footage, the auto-detection and tracking were taking a while and customers were not experiencing the benefit of auto-detection and tracking. You will now be able to by-pass the processing and then manually track individuals to complete your redactions.
