What data is transferred to Facit Data Systems?

We have kept the data that is transferred between your device and our severs to a minimum and we do not transfer any personal or video data.

The data that is transferred between your device and our server when using Identity Cloak covers the following two areas:

Licence authentication:

To authenticate a licence for a user, we are recording the following pieces of information:

• License Key
• Device Name
• MAC Address
• A handshake between Facit's Server and the User device is made

Analystics:

Analytics data is also referred to as Usage data or User Experience data. This data helps us determine any problems with the performance of the software for the user.

• If an error is generated by the S/W when a video is loaded, redacted or exported.
• Which software feature is utilised by the user.
• What button is clicked/pressed
• The amount of time the user is spending on the software
• Length and format of the video uploaded and exported.

If you have an offline license then there is no data transferred between your device and our server, we also do not have a handshake between them.
