What is the difference between the resolution options?

Identity Cloak is designed to keep your video resolution in the file's original size, however, you do have the option to change this to our recommend resolution.

As default, Identity Cloak will keep your video file in its original resolution size (for example "full HD" 1020). Depending on the size of the video you may find that Identity Cloak runs more slowly due to this, if you would prefer enhanced performance and quicker export speed you can change this to our recommended resolution (1024 width and the height will vary depending on the aspect ratio of the original file).

To change your Resolution size, you must do this before importing a video.

  1. Open Identity Cloak
  2. Go to Settings on your taskbar
  3. Select Resolution on the drop-down
  4. Select either original or recommend (depending on which one you would like to switch to) on the second drop-down menu
