The tracking sensitivity allows users to decide how much their videos pause in tracking for them to ensure that the correct person is being tracked when people are crossing in front of each other.
What is tracking sensitivity?
Previously, some users were experiencing the auto-tracking switching to a different person when people crossed paths, especially in busy situations. This issue has been resolved, by allowing users to decide how sensitive they would like the tracking to be, the higher the sensitivity the more stopping your video will do when people cross paths, for the user to then click on the correct person to continue to track. Thus, preventing the tracking to switch to the wrong person. The lower the sensitivity is set the less stopping of the video when people cross, however, you may run the risk of the auto-tracking switching to a different person if they cross paths.
Please note that the tracking sensitivity is only available for the auto-tracking and Identity Cloak will remember the level you have previously set on the tracking sensitivity for future videos.
How to use the tracking sensitivity?
To use the tracking sensitivity you need to be on the redaction screen of Identity Cloak.
- Click on the dot on the tracking sensitivity slider within the righthand side panel.
- Slide the dot to level that you wish to set the sensitivity.
- Carry on with your redaction as you would normally.
- Identity Cloak will stop tracking when your person crosses with another individual.
The lower the sensitivity level the less stop starting there will be, for instance Identity Cloak may only stop when people overlap almost perfectly on the lowest level. On the highest level you will experience more stop starting as people only need to be alined for Identity Cloak to stop.
