This feature will allow you to redact sections of audio from your video footage using identity cloak. This highly requested feature removes the need to use an external audio redaction tool, significantly saving our users time and effort. Identity cloak will now automatically detect  audio for all uploaded videos. On the Import screen, you will no longer see a checkbox to "include audio" as you had on the previous versions.  On the Import page, under the video timeline, you will see a blue bar with white sound waves. If the video has no audio you will see a straight line in the middle of the blue bar.  You can scroll through the video by moving the slider.  You can also zoom in on the sound waves using the magnifier to select a specific section to redact.  ![Redacted audio screenshot](https://knowledgebase.facit.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/Redacted%20audio%20screenshot.png?width=688&height=430&name=Redacted%20audio%20screenshot.png) **How to Use This Feature:** Once you have identified the section you wish to redact, move your cursor over the blue box and draw a section. Then right-click and click Mute Audio. This section will now appear red indicating the audio is muted. Furthermore, if you wish to redact all the audio (e.g. for bodyworn camera footage in a busy A&E department where you can hear other patient details in the background) then you can click on the speaker on the left-hand side to mute the whole video.  #### Trim segments of the video Another frequently requested feature is the option to remove segments from the middle of the video. E.g. If the person of interest appears multiple times in a one-hour video, you can now redact and export only the segments where they appear by removing the parts where they are not visible. **How to Use This Feature:** Import the video and select the section by drawing a box on the timeline. Right click and select "Delete Video".
